My name is Alan Thomas and on March 2, 2017, at the age of 55, I stepped on the scale and it read 304 pounds. 

Literally panic set in, it was the day after my 31st wedding anniversary and 3 thoughts ran through my mind.

  1. I could not recall ever meeting a 65 year old man that was more than 100 pounds overweight, to me that meant I had less than 10 years to live.

Who I Am

My name is Alan Thomas and I help ordinary men and women discover their extraordinary through weight loss. I created the Rethink Dieting process in 2017 when my wife Angie and I lost 192 pounds together. Now we help unleash human potential through weight loss, by coaching overweight men and women out of their self-made prison of obesity. Living in an obese body is exhausting, I know because I was once there, right in your shoes, hitting 304 pounds on the scale and feeling trapped in a body that not only did not feel good but also felt very anxious about how the next 10 years of my life would turn out (if I would even live another 10 years with all the excess weight I was carrying).
